What percentage of your hair is visibly gray (is this a trick question?)

None at all!

If you had one year free of all responsibility and unlimited funds, what would you do?

Buy a home in Tuscany, one in Tucson and one in Vermont. Travel more of the world. Build a great big place for all the unwanted dogs and cats to roam and enjoy, with the staff to oversee it. Just a fun place for anyone to visit. Open a hospital or care center without current craziness of federal rules or cardboard administrators dictating stupid rules. Much like a "Patch Adams" place.

What are the most rewarding things that you have done in your life?

See above... Made a difference in some lives by caring and bringing positive thoughts and actions to them.

What rewarding things do you plan to do in your life?

Continue much of the same and the rest is open for more. Whatever comes my way that God sees fit to put there.

What are your favorite non-family related things to do in your free time?

The above plus having my neighbors over for coffee, breakfast, barbecues and dinner. Sit by the fireplace with some nice wine or brandy, read a good book, enjoy a great movie and plug away at the landscaping of my house and land.

How would you best describe your idea of "being successful?"

Making a difference in this world. Giving of myself, enjoying all that this life has to offer and looking toward the next for eternity.

What are your most vivid memories of your days in Ridgewood?

Not all that great of school, but I loved my town and riding my bike around, swimming in Graydon. I enjoyed most of the teachers; they were fairly cool.

What achievement or activity are you most proud of in your life?

Making friends all over the country during my jobs. Changing a small part of this world. Being invited back.

What single piece of wisdom would you like to leave for the next generation?

Remember that history repeats itself and don't allow the same mistakes to be made over and over. It takes one person to make a change. Don't be afraid to follow your dreams.

How have you changed since high school?

Grown and expanded and became happy with myself and those around me. Stay away from negative people and judgmental things. Am grateful for what I have, what I've seen and where I've been, where I can go.

What else should we know about you?!

Keep an open mind and heart. Keep a smile and an inner peace. The material things don't matter, sharing does.
