Getting 25 years of photos into Creative Memories albums. (This takes a LONG time because I do too much reminiscing as I work)

If you had one year free of all responsibility and unlimited funds, what would you do?

Spend the year at our home in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. I would read, cook, hike, put photos in albums, have friends and family visit, get involved in the women's ministries at our church in Ossipee, NH.

 

What are the most rewarding things that you have done in your life?

Raise 4 daughters who love the Lord, who are musical, who love to be with each other and with good friends.

 

What rewarding things do you plan to do in your life?

I will be in the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society's Marathon in Vancouver, BC in May 2006. I will be walking the full marathon with my daughter in honor of my father, Ed Johnson who died in July 1988 from myeloma (another blood related cancer). I will continue leading the women's mentoring ministry at our church to see more women come to know and love the Lord.

 

What are your favorite non-family related things to do in your free time?

Read, cook, train for the marathon, accompany my daughters on their violins/viola.

 

How would you best describe your idea of "being successful?"

Having a family that chooses to be together. Having 4 daughters who love the Lord and choose to serve Him in their lives.

 

What are your most vivid memories of your days in Ridgewood?

Being very involved in the music ministry at West Side Presbyterian Church. Enjoying the high school fellowship at West Side as well. Being in a high school musical (Brigadoon….)

 

What achievement or activity are you most proud of in your life?

Raising a wonderful family with my husband!

 

What single piece of wisdom would you like to leave for the next generation?

Share your life with those younger than you are. Help them through the rough spots and encourage them to share with those younger than they are. Be there for people. Life is so much more than material things. Invest your time in the lives of friends and family.

 

How have you changed since high school?

I look pretty much the same as I did in high school. I still have thick long hair.
