Mandolin playing (my mid-life “crisis”), paddling on quiet Adirondack lakes, enjoying good music, and spending time with my family
What percentage of your hair is visibly gray (is this a trick question?)
My former full beard keeps getting smaller and smaller as I cut off the gray.
If you had one year free of all responsibility and unlimited funds, what would you do?
Travel to off-beat places (away from the cold)
What are the most rewarding things that you have done in your life?
Raising kids that are creative, independent thinkers, keeping life simple (or trying to) in a very complex world.

Same as the unlimited funds question (just waiting for the funds).
What are your favorite non-family related things to do in your free time?
Swimming, paddling, reading, mando playing, and listening to great music of people who really can play!
How would you best describe your idea of "being successful?"
Being comfortable with yourself, and treating others with kindness and respect.
What are your most vivid memories of your days in Ridgewood?
Graydon pool swimming, Mama Rosa's pizza, cruisin', “The Barn” at West Side Church, some rather untamed parties.
What achievement or activity are you most proud of in your life?
Keeping young with my kids
What single piece of wisdom would you like to leave for the next generation?
There is a whole natural world around us that we should not lose to the blur of technology
How have you changed since high school?
A little worse for the wear, but high school wasn't really THAT long ago, was it?
