What percentage of your hair is visibly gray (is this a trick question?)
Luckily, only about 1-2%
If you had one year free of all responsibility and unlimited funds, what would you do?
I'd definitely travel the world. I've been lucky enough to see a lot of Europe, but I'd love to visit Asia and Australia.
What are the most rewarding things that you have done in your life?
I have loved my volunteer work teaching in Newark. But I'd have to say raising my 3 boys has been the most difficult and most rewarding experience…particularly as I watch my oldest son head off to college.
What rewarding things do you plan to do in your life?
I'd like to do more with my volunteer work in Newark. It is incredible to see what conditions exist just 15 minutes from my house in Summit.
What are your favorite non-family related things to do in your free time?
I really love to play tennis. I also enjoy cooking and have taken several courses in NYC.
How would you best describe your idea of "being successful?"
Being good at what you do and lucky enough to be happy while doing it.
What are your most vivid memories of your days in Ridgewood?
I guess hanging around with friends, going to the football games on Saturdays, walking into town.
What achievement or activity are you most proud of in your life?
I think one of the best things I ever did was decide to spend my Junior Year in college abroad in France…for a pretty shy girl, that was a pretty big achievement and an experience that has been unforgettable.
What single piece of wisdom would you like to leave for the next generation?
I wish that their lives wouldn't be so scheduled and choreographed…from getting on the right soccer team to getting into the right schools, etc.
How have you changed since high school?
Not all that much has changed - just a little older and wiser.
