Principal Member of Technical Committee on Ovens & Furnaces of the National Fire Protection Association; Cubmaster of Pack 759 - Los Angeles Area Council - Boy Scouts of America; Sunday School Teacher - Bible Adventures for Kids - St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Redondo Beach.

 

Current hobbies and interests:

Philosophy, Religion, Politics, (…15 years ago, I would have said Rotisserie League Baseball)

If you had one year free of all responsibility and unlimited funds, what would you do?

Establish an urban philosophical mission in cyberspace and physical space, to try to help men at risk of mid-life crises.

Being a source of enrichment to my family and loved ones.

 

What are your most vivid memories of your days in Ridgewood?

Snow. Staying up all night after graduation. Band trip to Sherburne. Driving the G.S. Parkway to Sandy Hook. Mr. G., Mr. Postle, and Messrs. Thompson. Basketball at HoHoKus School with Brian, Ed Li, Chi, etc. Parties at HK's. Visiting colleges.

 

What achievement or activity are you most proud of in your life?

Being co-inventor of “flameless thermal oxidizer” and “radiatively-coupled fins”

 

What single piece of wisdom would you like to leave for the next generation?

Pursue faith and reason.

 

How have you changed since high school?

Yes and No - Too many ways to count.
