Every other year I coordinate a golf vacation for Howard Belger, Scott Jones, Andy Musci, Jim Robertiello, Alex Kinzler, Rob Gebhard, Bob Inglima and myself - if you know any of these people you would then know how time consuming this professional activity could be (just kidding guys…).
Current hobbies and interests:
Golf, hiking, ocean kayaking.

20% but that number will change by tomorrow, next week, etc…
If you had one year free of all responsibility and unlimited funds, what would you do?
First, take my family to a quiet island and just hang out with them, oh yeah, the dog too. Then I would try to play as many of the world's finest golf courses as possible. Then visit the world's best wineries. And..if time permits do it all over again!
What are the most rewarding things that you have done in your life?
First and foremost - married Judy. Then, having our family. Moving to Santa Barbara has been very rewarding - sun, beach, mountains - just a great place to live.
What rewarding things do you plan to do in your life?
Retire!
How would you best describe your idea of "being successful?"
Personally - thinking of my family makes me feel successful, professionally, I have enjoyed my 25 years in the publishing industry and have endured some tough times and celebrated some great times. I would do it all over again.
What are your most vivid memories of your days in Ridgewood?
Having impromptu parties in my bedroom with my friends listening to rock 'n roll.
What achievement or activity are you most proud of in your life?
Starting my imprint, Sage reference.
What single piece of wisdom would you like to leave for the next generation?
Grab a rail and hang on - life moves fast and it's much more fun in the fast lane!
