Ken Rick
- April 22, 2000

Kenneth Rick married Michelle Weber on Nov. 29, 1985. Together they have two daughters, Kim 18 and Jamie 16. Together they enjoyed 14 happy years as a family. On April 22, 2000, Ken died from pancreatic and liver cancer. Up until his last few months of life, he enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening, and various activities with his family. He brought smiles to the faces of everyone he met. He is dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. We continue to feel his presence as he watches over us through the stars in the heavens.

Hi, Kenny was my brother in law. I am Susans husband. He was my best friend, fishing, party and running around buddy, and my Bestman too. A person could have never wanted for a better friend. I always have reminders of him in my life, and I am thankful that he was here to bless me with his presences, if even for a short time.

Kenny was the younger of my two brothers. I was the oldest and Sue, my sister, was the youngest. Each of us has different memories of our childhood. Kenny once told me that he always remembered me being in the library or studying all the time - how boring! In contrast, Kenny was always filled with a passion for life that was anything but boring! He had an endearing quick smile, beautiful blue eyes, and one of the most sensitive hearts that I have ever known. Kenny was kind, gentle and caring towards everyone and everything. These were some of the life lessons that he taught all of us. It was truly an honor for me to be walked down the aisle on my wedding day by Kenny. Although Kenny “gave me away” that day, he has never really left me. He continues to live within each of us in some special way. Maybe in Kenny's case, Billy Joel was right, “Only the good die young.” We love you, Kenny.

I loved  Kenny Rick he was a sweetheart!  His heart was good and his smiles lit up a room.  I agree with his sister only the good die young.  He was my friend and my heart goes out to his family I'll always remember him as a source of fun and laughter.  He will be truly missed at our reunion!
